STRONG HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE AREA IS BRINGING VERY COLD
AIR TO THE REGION. IN ADDITION NW WINDS WILL REMAIN AT 10
TO 15 MPH OVERNIGHT. THIS WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILL TEMPS
FALLING TO AROUND 25 DEGREES LATE TONIGHT.ESPECIALLY ALONG THE
BEACHES & ST. JOHNS RIVER WHERE WINDS WILL BE STRONGEST.
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS ISSUED FOR NE FL WHEN WIND
SPEEDS ARE AT OR ABOVE 10 MPH & WIND CHILLS ARE BELOW 25 DEGREES
FOR FOUR OR MORE HRS.
LOW WIND CHILLS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE & LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA
IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS.MAKE
SURE YOU WEAR A HAT & GLOVES.
Hypothermia in Florida. Isn't that statement a bit of an oxymoron? Joking aside, it is uncharacteristically cold today. I'm not looking forward to my run. But I might get to turn my heat on tonight! :)
(I'm frugile, so I have this deal with myself that I won't turn it on until it gets below 60 in the house. For the record, my thermostat loves to hover at 61.) :)

Windchill in FL?! I had to read that twice! If you were wondering, its 29 degrees here now, but the windchill makes it feel like 18. :)
Have I shared the stories of days of January so cold it hurts to inhale outside? I should. And I share that mostly with a sense of marvel; I love the winter, but days where it is -85 with windchill (no, I'm not kidding) are certainly something to be reckoned with.
Have you ever been outside and your *eyes* were cold? Its hard to explain. :/

and yes...actually the wind chill is much worse than you would think because the humidity and ocean breezes make it feel much colder than it is...i've been surprised :)

So the purity ring...I turned 18 in November. And I came home pretty late the night before (about 2 AM) from my "surprise" birthday at a friends. So I wake up the next morning and go down to the traditional birthday breakfast of eggs benidict. And I am still REALLYYYY tired from the night before. All of a sudden a box is thrown in front of me, and my mother is like open it. So I did, and it is a "True Love Waits" ring. I was just like "wow, thanks guys..." The whole time I was like ohh this is awkward. And then my dad is like do you want the lecture that goes along with that...and I was like no. The rest of birthday breakfast was silent. I think there was probably a better way to present that. Oh parents. It sure is fun (ny).
And the monkey bite. Well when all that happen it messed up my migraine medicine. And ever since I had to take that anti-viral, I just can't seem to get well. They increased my levels and changed my drugs...there isn't much else they can do though. We are thinking of trying accupuncture. Do you know anything about that?
How are you in general? Are things looking up, or down?
hey jen! yeah, jenny is going to stay with her mom for about a week. we want a few days of just us....and with me healing, i know i'll just want karli there with me....it's really going to be an adjustment, learning how to breastfeed, etc and I def want the privacy.
we will be keeping jess in our thoughts. i really hope she comes out of this soon!!! please keep us updated! xo
